NAU21 was present both at the “Uniting Business for a Better World” and at the “Gitex Global – The World’s Largest Tech Show”,
October has been a very busy month at NAU21, perfect to widen our horizons and discover some of the ways available to improve not only our business but also our world. With several kilometers separating them, NAU21 was present both at the “Uniting Business for a Better World”, marking the 20th anniversary of the UN Global Compact Network Portugal, in Lisbon, and at the “Gitex Global – The World’s Largest Tech Show”, which took place in Dubai.
Who better than those who attended these events to let us know what it was like. Without further ado, here are their testimonies:
“On behalf of NAU21, I had the privilege to attend Expand North Star and GITEX GLOBAL on Sunday and Wednesday. Those were incredible days!!! At Expand North Star, I could meet up with startups from all around the world, which was very interesting! GITEX GLOBAL was a great opportunity to learn more about the new technologies and it was very interesting as well! Attending these events allowed me to present NAU21’s products and discuss future business opportunities in Dubai. I discussed this during an Amer Visual call, both with representants of Abu Dhabi and Dubai government entities. One of the high points was the interaction with the robots. I even got a hug and a hi5 from one of them. The police’s robot was also very interesting.”

“As a NAU21’s employee in the Marketing department, my participation in the event that took place on the 20thanniversary of the UN Global Compact Network Portugal was extremely enriching and inspiring. The discussion of urgent current issues that reflect the 10 basic SDGs of this organisation raised the need for organisations to raise awareness of these issues. The presence of real cases of results achieved in recent years made me believe that we will also be able to do our best and achieve good results in the coming years, making a difference in our sector. In this sense, the focus in the near future will be on implementing measures that go hand in hand with basic principles such as: sustainable consumption, quality health, peace and justice, among many others. I’m grateful to have been part of this event and to be able to do my part for a better future.”

Furthermore, on the 24th October 2023, NAU21 will also commemorate the United Nations Day at the conference “Implementing the 2030 Agenda – Midpoint” to be held at Biblioteca Almeida Garrett, in Porto.
